Debate should be a space that seeks to reject militarism seen within the United States federal government as well as within academia. The ballot should be to endorse the team that provides the best form of resistance against the military structures of the United States government as well as debate.
Prefer our interpretation: The embedded militarization in government and within debate has resulted in the lack of introspection over its existence and vice versa becoming a root cause of the topic areas described in the resolution, expressing the necessity of its critique in order to begin restricting its functionality within these rounds.
