1AC KSUTournament: KSU | Round: 2 | Opponent: UTSA MP | Judge: Peter Cancro I live under the war power authorities, with President Obama as my Commander-in-Chief. People trying to solve going to war, makes me think of my battle buddy Griffin, or Gate, or Faith who all are being shipped out in the month or my family who has been lucky enough to come back. Every war power the president has me closer to go to war, Think about war, think about the time my cousin went through in which he was on patrol in Iraq when an RPG went into a school bus and kids bursting out on fire dying infront of him, but what could he do, nothing. With the Powers over him preventing him from being able help even though he was there. Or my uncle who searched tunnels in Vietnam with a flashlight, M9, and a knife, having to kill to survive or disobey orders and be put to death. These war powers are tied to me in more ways than can I imagine, every breath every day I am under control of the Presidential War Powers- and I may not be here tomorrow depending on how they are used.
